The whole image-SEO checklist, automated

Other tools do one job. Local Image SEO handles the full local-image workflow — content, location and file metadata — in a single click.

AI alt text & titles

Describes exactly what's in the photo and works your keyword in naturally — accessible and search-friendly.

Search-the-map geotag

Type your business name, pick it on the map, and exact GPS coordinates + altitude are written into the file's EXIF.

Keyword-based tags

Give one target keyword and get 20+ related, rank-friendly secondary keywords — not just a description of the picture.

IPTC / XMP fields

Creator, copyright, credit, city, sub-location and more — the same fields GeoSetter and Photoshop read.

Copy-paste embed code

Ready <img> tag, Schema.org ImageObject JSON-LD, Open Graph and an image-sitemap entry for every image.

Compress & convert

Resize, convert to WebP and compress with a quality slider so your pages stay fast and pass Core Web Vitals.

Three steps

From raw photo to ranked image

The same workflow an SEO agency would run by hand — done in under a minute.

FAQ

Common questions

Does geotagging images actually help local SEO?+
Geotagging adds location context (GPS, city, sub-location) to a file's metadata. On its own it won't skyrocket rankings, but as part of a full local-SEO effort — descriptive filenames, alt text, fast images and Google Business Profile uploads — it's a low-effort best practice many agencies include.
Are my images uploaded to a server?+
No. The optimization runs in your browser, so your images are processed on your own device and never uploaded to us.
Which file gets the metadata — JPEG, PNG or WebP?+
EXIF and XMP metadata are written into JPEG files. PNG and WebP can't hold EXIF, so when you need embedded tags and GPS, export as JPEG.
What's the difference between free and paid?+
Free covers one image at a time with the full AI + geotag + metadata workflow. Paid plans add bulk processing (up to 5 at once), ZIP downloads, saved business profiles and remove the attribution badge.
Do the keyword suggestions come from the photo or my keyword?+
From your target keyword. You enter one keyword and get related secondary keywords — long-tail variations and buyer-intent phrases — while the alt text and title describe the actual image.
